Assessment missions

As part of its activities, CAAP Afrika conducts assessment missions designed to contact local organizations, such as hospitals and welcome centers. During these trips, the members of the association try to assess their needs in terms of equipment, staff and know-how in order to organize targeted missions or training programs addressed to local doctors.

Assessment missions are an essential tool to get in touch with local people that concretely know the country’s reality and to deliver effective humanitarian aid.

Among the most recent missions is the one in Niamey, where the President of the association and two other members visited Issaka Gazobi’s maternity ward as well as the welcome center for women suffering from fistula that handles the treatment of obstetric fistula and socio-economic reintegration of women.
