The project

The medical training in the field of surgery is ensured by the University of Niger, and by the Belgian Cooperation for a few years.

Caap Afrika would come as an additional help to this training in offering to surgeons the possibility to specialize in a way adapted to the Nigerien needs and specificities.

It seemed essential to us to follow this teaching with a real theoretical and practical training within a team of trained surgeons in order to pass on knowledge and technical learning to be effective upon their return to their country of origin.

Chosen candidates will spend one year at the CHPG to master the pre-specified abilities and knowledge. They will obtain a Diploma for these achievements.

Upon their return, some continuous video teachings and tuitions will take place in order to pursue and complete what they have acquired during the first year.

We shall grant a “scholarship contract” to those candidates willing to set back home and provide for their return and to help them develop their professional activity.

Moreover, besides that scholarship, they will get upon their return a well-defined and established status in their country.Pour ce faire, outre la bourse de formation, ils recevront dès leur retour, un statut établi et défini dans leur pays.
